Portsmouth set to sign Sean Raggett on loan
Norwich City defender Sean Raggett is set to join Portsmouth on a season-long loan deal as they look to push for promotion back into the Championship.
Following the departure of Matt Clarke to Brighton, Portsmouth have been keen to find a replacement for the defender who was crucial in their side last season.
Raggett signed for the Canaries back in August 2017 after helping Lincoln gain promotion to the Football League.
The defender also played a key role in a historic FA Cup run which saw the Imps beat the likes of Ipswich, Brighton and Burnley, before losing to Arsenal in the quarter-finals.
The 25-year-old has spent time on loan with Lincoln and Rotherham in recent years, enduring a difficult season with the Millers due to numerous injury problems.
Norwich boss Daniel Farke could well look to bolster his defensive options ahead of their Premier League return, however, he will be without Raggett, who will be plying his trade at Fratton Park next season.
