Dortmund and Ajax eyeing up Norwich’s Simon Power

Borussia Dortmund and Ajax are among a host of clubs reportedly interested in signing Norwich City winger Simon Power.

According to The Mirror, Borussia Dortmund, Lyon, Ajax and PSV Eindhoven are all showing an interest in snapping Power up this summer.

The report claims that Power caught the eye whilst representing Ireland’s under-21’s at the Toulon tournament this month, as he helped his country reach the semi-final stage – alongside Norwich teammate Adam Idah.

Power joined Norwich’s academy from UCD last summer, but is yet to make his senior bow for the Canaries. He did, however, go out on loan to Dordrecht in Holland last season, scoring once in 10 appearances before picking up an injury which ended his spell with the Dutch side.

The Mirror claim that Norwich manager Daniel Farke is planning to have Power train with the first-team in pre-season, with the club gearing up for a Premier League campaign.
