Norwich have not held talks with David Turnbull

Norwich have reportedly not held talks with Motherwell midfielder David Turnbull or his agent as of yet.

According to Paddy Davitt of the Pink’Un, Norwich are yet to discuss personal terms with the attacking midfielder.

The report claims that Norwich have had a bid accepted by Motherwell, but face competition from a host of sides.

Southampton, Sheffield Wednesday and Bristol City are all said to be interested, whilst Celtic recently pulled out of the race to land the Scot.

Turnbull enjoyed a superb season with Motherwell in Scotland as he scored 16 and assisted eight in all competitions from the side, catching the eye of a number of clubs – including Norwich.

Reports earlier this week had suggested that Turnbull was coming to Norwich on Wednesday for talks and a medical, but the Pink’Un claim that this is wide of the mark and that he will be speaking to several clubs in England.
