Manchester United stepping up Aarons interest

Manchester United are ready to step up their pursuit of Norwich star Max Aarons this summer.

According to Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol, United are eyeing Aarons as an alternative to Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

He claims that Manchester United have been unable to agree a deal to sign Wan-Bissaka and that they are now turning their attention to Aarons.

The Norwich defender enjoyed a sensational debut campaign with the Canaries, as he made 43 appearances in all competitions for Daniel Farke’s side.

Aarons scored twice and set-up six in the Championship as Norwich won the title, before being named as the EFL Young Player of the Season – beating off competition from Derby forward Harry Wilson.

The report does not state how much Norwich would demand for Aarons, following their promotion to the Premier League.
