He becomes the fourth Norwich player to commit their future to the club this summer, following on from Timm Klose, Onel Hernandez and Marco Stiepermann.

McLean signed for Norwich in January 2018 from Scottish side Aberdeen, but was loaned back to his former club until the end of the season.
He started the 2018/19 campaign well, before picking up a horrible injury in the League Cup, ruling him out for the first half of the season.
Daniel Farke then brought him back into the fold towards the end of the Championship season, with McLean scoring three times and setting up six from a deep-lying midfield role alongside Tom Trybull or Mario Vrancic.
