Norwich and Kiev battling it out to sign Paulinho
Norwich City and Dinamo Kiev are battling it out to land Braga centre-forward Paulinho this summer.
According to Portuguese outlet A Bola, Norwich and Kiev are both interested in a deal for the striker ahead of next season.
The report claims that Kiev have already had an offer in the region of €4.5m turned down, whilst Norwich are yet to make their first move for the forward.
Paulinho scored five league goals for Braga last season, netting four goals in three cup games, and has only scored 17 goals in 59 matches since joining Braga in 2017 from Gil Vincente for an undisclosed fee.
A Bola claim that Braga are demanding a fee in the region of €15m for Paulinho, which would be a club-record fee for the Canaries – making the figure seem unlikely given Stuart Webber’s claims that Norwich will have the smallest transfer budget in the division next season.
