Hamburg and Norwich competing to sign Bakalorz
Norwich City and Hamburg are competing for the signing of Marvin Bakalorz from Hannover this summer.
According to Sport Buzzer, Norwich are keen on a deal to sign the defensive midfielder ahead of next season.
The report claims that Hamburg and Norwich are fighting it out to land him, whilst Hannover are also attempting to tie him down to a new deal.
His current contract expires later this month, which would make him available to Norwich, or Hamburg, on a free transfer.
Bakalorz was Hannover’s captain last season in the Bundesliga and played 25 league matches for the club as they were relegated to the second division.
Following Hannover’s relegation to the 2. Bundesliga, Bakalorz could be tempted to make the move to Norwich.
The Canaries will be playing Premier League football again next season after winning the Championship title earlier this year. They ended the campaign on 94 points in the league.
