Timm Klose claims Ipswich have “no fans”

Norwich City centre-back Timm Klose has taken aim at Ipswich Town this week, claiming that they have “no fans”.

Klose says that Norwich are the dominant club in East Anglia and are bigger than their rivals Ipswich.

The Swiss centre-back is a popular figure at Carrow Road, for his personality off the pitch as well as his performances on it.

Since joining from Wolfsburg in 2016, Klose has played 110 league matches for Norwich – scoring 10 goals for the club, including a stoppage time equaliser against Ipswich in a 1-1 draw back in 2018.

Speaking to  Aargauer Zeitung, as quoted by The Pink’Un, Klose said this:

Norwich is the club in eastern England. We have a big fan base. Besides us, there is Ipswich, but they are not so cool and have no fans.

That’s what I’m saying now, because it’s the derby. But Norwich is already the biggest club in the east.

Klose was due to be out of contract this summer but recently put pen to paper on a new deal at Norwich, tying him down until the summer of 2022.
