Pukki named PFA Fans’ Player of the Season

Norwich City striker Teemu Pukki has been named as the PFA Fans’ Player of the Season.

Pukki was nominated for the award alongside Jack Grealish, Pablo Hernandez, Che Adams, Billy Sharp and Oliver Norwood, with fans from around the country deciding that the Finnish international deserved the award the most.

He joined Norwich on a free transfer from Brondby at the start of the season and ended the campaign with 29 goals and nine assists in the Championship – also earning him the Golden Boot.

Norwich secured promotion to the Premier League and the Championship title as they racked up 94 points, five clear of second-placed Sheffield United and 11 clear of third-placed Leeds United.

Pukki will now have the chance to prove that he can perform on the biggest stage of all – the Premier League.
