Norwich City transfer target Simon Mignolet is expected to ask to leave Liverpool this summer in order to force through a transfer.
According to GOAL, Mignolet is poised to demand his exit from Anfield as he goes in search of regular first-team football.
Mignolet was resigned to the bench for the entire Premier League season, with Alisson playing every minute of the campaign – picking up 21 clean sheets and the Golden Glove.
Norwich have been touted with interest in Mignolet as they look to improve their squad this summer and him asking to leave Liverpool could potentially drive down their asking price to a more reasonable fee.
The Belgian international has made over 200 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions since joining the club from Sunderland in 2013 and has nine seasons of Premier League experience to potentially bolster Norwich’s squad if they can strike a deal this summer.
Liverpool players Norwich could target
Masterson is out of contract this summer and has been linked with Norwich in the past. The young central defender could be one for the future at Carrow Road.
Wilson has caught the eye on loan at Derby this season and managed to bag 18 goals for the club. If they fail to achieve promotion, Norwich could swoop in and attempt to secure a loan deal.
The powerful central midfielder has enjoyed some good loan spells away from Liverpool and could be ready for a spell in the Premier League with Norwich – with the club looking for a central midfielder.
Norwich need competition for Teemu Pukki and Daniel Farke is excellent at developing young players. This means that Brewster could be the ideal loan signing for Norwich next season.
