Rhodes open to permanent Norwich move

Sheffield Wednesday striker Jordan Rhodes is open to completing a permanent move to Norwich this summer.

Rhodes spent the season on loan to Norwich, as the club clinched the Championship title – finishing the season on 94 points, five clear of Sheffield United and 11 clear of Leeds.

According to The Pink’Un, Norwich want to make his loan move a permanent one and that Rhodes, himself, is keen to stay.

The report also claims that Norwich had an option-to-buy in the loan arrangement, but are now hoping that they can snap him up for a reduced fee.

Rhodes’ contract at Sheffield Wednesday expires at the end of next season and is reportedly on big wages.

He scored nine goals over the course of the season, but spent most of the campaign playing back-up to Teemu Pukki – who scored 30 goals and was crowned PFA Championship Player of the Season.
