Norwich have potentially been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Wigan star Nick Powell.
According to Wigan Today, the Championship club have offered Powell improved terms after securing their place in the division next season.
The report claims that Wigan had a contract on offer for Powell for a few months, but they have now improved it upon achieving survival.

Norwich have been touted with a move for Powell, as have Celtic and Burnley, as they look to improve their squads.
Powell is out of contract in the summer and Norwich are hoping to sign the midfielder on a free contract.
However, this new offer from Wigan may tempt Powell into signing a new deal – ending Norwich’s hopes.
The 25-year-old has eight goals and six assists in the Championship for struggling Wigan this season, after netting 15 times in League One for the club last term as they were promoted to the second tier.
