Ligue 1 giants Lyon are plotting a £10m bid for Norwich City central defender Ben Godfrey ahead of the summer.
According to Football Insider, via The Pink’Un, Lyon are keen to sign Godfrey and are prepared to offer £10m for the talented young defender.
Godfrey started the season at Norwich as a rotation defensive midfielder, but broke into the team as a centre-back in December – playing every minute of Norwich’s Championship campaign since.

The report claims that Lyon have been scouting Godfrey in his last five appearances for Norwich, which included him scoring a superb goal from defence against Reading in a 2-2 draw.
Manchester United and Arsenal are both said to also be interested in Godfrey, who has been one of the standout young players in the Championship during the second-half of the season.
Norwich are thought to be poised to offer Godfrey a new contract as they look to ward off potential interest.
