The official Championship Team of the Season has been announced and Norwich have three representatives in the team.
Teemu Pukki, Jamal Lewis and Max Aarons all slot into the XI, which is causing quite the stir on social media.
Fans of clubs across the division have been arguing since the team was announced, debating who should and shouldn’t have been selected.
So we have decided to do our own Team of the Season – in a 4-4-2 formation.
Middlesbrough’s Darren Randolph was named in the official one, but Dean Henderson has been the best goalkeeper in the division this season in my opinion.
No doubt over Aarons’ place in the TOTS.
His Leeds teammate Liam Cooper was named in the official team, but we think that Jansson deserved it more.
The Irish defender has been the standout defender of the season for me.
Another pick which was spot on from the official team.
21 goals from the right wing, Bowen had to make it into this team.
Norwood has bossed the midfield for Sheffield United this season.
Although he’s operated as a right-winger/attacking midfielder this season, we’ve dropped Buendia into central midfield to fit into this side.
It’s incredible that Hernandez didn’t make the official TOTS. Double figures for goals and assists, as well as being Leeds’ star man this season. He’s in ours, though.
22 goals for the Englishman, Sharp had to be in.
My pick for Championship Player of the Year and Norwich’s Player of the Season. 24 goals and nine assists in the league, superb.
