England have confirmed the squad, with Godfrey now in line to make his debut against either Poland or Portugal.
This is Godfrey’s first ever call-up to an England squad at any age level, rewarding him for his impressive form in the Championship.
Godfrey has nailed down a starting place at centre-back in Norwich’s team, alongside German defender Christoph Zimmermann.
The 21-year-old has started each of Norwich’s last 17 Championship games, 18 in all competitions, and is impressing week-in-week-out.
He started the season as a defensive midfielder, but Farke has moulded him into a centre-back this season, where he looks to be staying for the foreseeable future.
