Norwich City moved five points clear at the top of the Championship on Friday as they beat Swansea 1-0 at Carrow Road.
The Canaries took the lead through Emi Buendia in the second-half and defended stoutly to keep a dangerous Swansea side out.
Buendia’s goal came as he took a superb touch into the box and thundered a strike into the top corner – his fifth league goal of the season.
Here are four things we learned from the game…
Pukki is human
Pukki had two great chances to score, but put one wide and one hit the post. He is human after all!
Buendia is magic!
Yet again, Buendia produced a moment of magic to help City to a win. The Argentine has been sensational this season.
Farke knows best
Despite a poor first-half, Farke opted not to make any personnel changes – but altered his tactics slightly and it helped Norwich secure the three points.
A new keeper may be needed if we go up
If Norwich are to secure promotion to the Premier League, a new goalkeeper is almost certainly needed. Tim Krul is good enough at this level, but it’s clear to see that he would struggle against higher quality.
