Norwich made their way back to the top of the Championship on Saturday as they beat Bolton 4-0 away from home.
The Canaries eased past the relegation-threatened side as they scored three times in the first-half.
Teemu Pukki, Marco Stiepermann and Emi Buendia all found the back of the net in the opening 45, before Pukki added a second later in the match.
Kenny McLean also missed a penalty in the second-half, firing straight at Remi Matthews after Pukki was brought down in the box.
Here are four things we learned…
Farke is the best coach in the league by a mile
All four of Norwich’s goals were beautifully constructed in their own right and it’s evidence of the incredible work Farke has done on the training field in the last 18 months or so. He has managed to get this team playing the best football in the division, when many tipped them for another mid-table finish.
Norwich need to start passing the ball from penalties
McLean’s miss from the spot makes it six out seven spot kicks missed this season. From now on they need to start passing it backwards from the spot, they’d have a higher chance of scoring from it!
Trybull is Norwich's best defensive midfielder
Yet again Tom Trybull put in a superb performance in the middle of the park for Norwich. The German ran the midfield from start to finish, winning the ball back and setting Norwich on the front foot. He even broke a Norwich record of attempted passes in one game (153).
Godfrey deserves his place over Klose and Hanley
Picking up a second clean sheet in the space of a week, Ben Godfrey was impressive at the back alongside Christoph Zimmermann. Godfrey is enjoying a good run in the side as a central defender since Timm Klose’s injury and has done a superb job. Despite Klose now being fit to play, Godfrey deserves to keep his place.
