Norwich City slumped to defeat as they lost 3-1 to Preston at Deepdale on Wednesday night.
Preston took a two goal lead in the first half, with Marco Stiepermann also missing a penalty for Norwich.
The home side then made it three in the second half, before Teemu Pukki pulled one back in stoppage time.
Here are four things we learned from the game…
Tettey is not good enough
Yet again Tettey was poor in midfield as his early mistake ended up costing Norwich the opening goal. He looked five yards off the pace, as per usual, and deserves to be dropped for the weekend.
Farke can still get things wrong
It’s easy to forget that Farke is still a very young manager. He’s going to still make mistakes, like his team selection tonight, but he’ll learn from it and go again on Saturday.
McLean has to start
McLean came on late in the second half and showed he can be the difference. It was his great delivery which led to Pukki’s goal.
Someone needs to blast the ball down the middle
Norwich have now missed five out of six penalties this season. Every miss has been a tame tap either side of the keeper. Someone just needs to step up and blast the ball down the middle.
