Our man of the match: Ipswich (H)
Norwich City reclaimed their place at the top of the Championship on Sunday as they beat Ipswich 3-0 in the East Anglian derby.
Onel Hernandez netted his seventh of the season after just one minute and 25 seconds as he latched onto the end of Mario Vrancic’s header and swept the ball into the back of the net.
Teemu Pukki then hit his 20th and 21st goals of the season in the second half as he rounded off the scoring for Norwich.
There were plenty of candidates for man of the match, with Onel Hernandez, Teemu Pukki, Tom Trybull, Christoph Zimmermann and Max Aarons in contention.
However, our man of the match is… Emi Buendia!
The brilliant Argentine winger was superb throughout the game, with his work-rate to get back and win the ball, as well as his ability when in possession.
He won the ball back and thread Pukki through to make it 2-0, before driving the ball forward and slipping Pukki in again for the third.
Buendia is one of the most talented, if not the most talented, players I have ever seen play for Norwich. One of the best players in the Championship, without a doubt.
