Marshall joined Norwich from Wolves at the start of the season for a reported £1.5m but has struggled to settle in at Carrow Road.

His appearances against Portsmouth in the FA Cup earlier this month was his first Norwich outing since August, despite being on the bench most weeks.

Marshall spent the second half of last season on loan to Millwall whilst he was still a Wolves player and is now set to repeat that this season.

He becomes the first senior Norwich player to leave the club this month, with Daniel Farke also yet to make any signings to his squad.

It remains to be seen where the player’s long-term future lies after he failed to break into Norwich’s plans this season.
