Ivo Pinto linked with move to Turkey
Norwich’s Ivo Pinto has been linked with a move to Turkish side Rizespor, according to the Pink’Un.
The Turkish Superlig side are reportedly interested in a move for the Portuguese full-back, who has fallen out of favour at Carrow Road.
Youngster Max Aarons has established himself at full back, and Pinto found himself an unused substitute against Portsmouth at the weekend.
The defender is free to speak to foreign sides, with his deal at Carrow Road set to expire at the end of the season.
Turkish TV station SuperHaber are reporting that Pinto could be on the move to Rizespor, with the side opening inital talks with the defender.
Pinto joined the Canaries back in 2016 from Dinamo Zagreb in a bid to keep Norwich in the Premier League.
The defender would eventually rise to captain at the Canaries but has found time limited this season.
With Rivespor bottom of the Turkish top flight, Pinto could add some quality to the defence. He would also join former teammate Cameron Jerome in Turkey, with the former Norwich striker playing his football for Göztepe.
