Norwich City lost 1-0 to Portsmouth at Carrow Road in the FA Cup on Saturday as they lost in the third round of the competition for the sixth year in-a-row.

Grant Hanley made his first start for the club since early September but was shown a red card early on for a poorly-timed challenge 25-yards from goal.

The Canaries then struggled to create chances with 10 men, as Portsmouth defended well throughout.

Andre Green then popped up with a winner in injury-time for the League One side, as Norwich lost for the second time in three games.

Despite the loss, there were still some things to be positive about – including our man of the match.

So, our Norwich man of the match is… Kenny McLean!

The Scottish midfielder started his first match for Norwich since picking up an injury in the League Cup in August.

McLean played alongside Tom Trybull in midfield and was very impressive, considering how long he has been out.

He was strong on the ball, won tackles, and always looked to split the lines and progress the play.

His free-kicks and corners were also impressive, putting a number of dangerous deliveries into the box.
