Our man of the match: Ipswich (A)

Our man of the match: Ipswich (A)

Norwich City made it 11 games unbeaten in the East Anglian derby on Sunday as they held Ipswich to a 1-1 draw.

It has now been eight years since Ipswich last beat Norwich, with Moritz Leitner securing a draw for the Canaries.

Gwion Edwards opened the scoring for Ipswich midway through the second-half, when his effort from the edge of the box deflected off Ben Godfrey and found the bottom corner.

Leitner then scored a sublime driven strike from 20-yards to secure a point, with his first goal for the club.

Picking a man of the match has been fairly easy, with few Norwich players doing themselves justice.

Max Aarons and Grant Hanley were in contention, with Tim Krul and Alex Tettey also having decent games.

However, our Norwich man of the match against Ipswich is… Jamal Lewis!

The full-back was superb all afternoon, and won dealt with the threat of Gwion Edwards very well.

Edwards was only able to score his goal after he switched to a central position  and found space in midfield, after Lewis left him frustrated out wide.

Lewis also looked good going forwards, driving with the ball at his feet and attempting to create space.
