Norwich sealed their place in the third round of the League Cup on Tuesday night with a 3-1 win over Cardiff.
The Canaries were able to beat Premier League opposition in Wales, as Dennis Srbeny scored his first two goals of the season.
The German forward scored in the 26th and 64th minute, with a rasping strike into the top corner and a well-placed header at the back post.
18-year-old fullback Max Aarons then added a third in the 69th minute as he swivelled in the box and dinked the ball over the goalkeeper for his first senior goal.
Cardiff pulled one back in the 77th minute, but Norwich were able to see the game out.
Picking a man of the match has been hard, with some many superb performances across the park for Norwich.
Tom Trybull, Ben Godfrey, Max Aarons and Emi Buendia could all have been given man of the match.
However, our Norwich man of the match against Cardiff is… Dennis Srbeny!
The striker netted his first two goals of the season, both of which were impressive in their own right, and had an excellent game up front.
He linked the play well and showed the confidence he has been visibly missing for the majority of his City career to date.
