Norwich City picked up a point on the opening day of the Championship season as they held Birmingham to a 2-2 draw.

The Canaries were twice behind as the hosts took the lead twice in the second-half, only for Onel Hernandez to level on both occasions.

Norwich had a number of good performers, as well as some bad ones, but who was the man of the match?

Timm Klose and Ben Marshall were in contention, but it just had to be this man…

Our Norwich man of the match against Birmingham is… Onel Hernandez!

The Cuban winger scored both of Norwich’s goals, with two superb finishes and was a menace all afternoon for the Birmingham defence.

His touch was excellent and he never gave the ball away cheaply down the right, linking up well with Ben Marshall.

Hernandez looks set for a big season in yellow and green after that display.
