Norwich City beat Leeds 2-1 at Carrow Road on Saturday in their last home match of the season.
The Canaries now travel to face Sheffield Wednesday in their final game of the season, though Norwich’s league position is rather irrelevant – with nothing to play for.
The win over Leeds was, somewhat, overshadowed by the departure of Wes Hoolahan.
It was announced earlier this week that Hoolahan would be leaving the club at the end of the season and the clash with Leeds would be his last game.
After ten years with Norwich, Hoolahan ended on a high as he scored the equaliser and set-up the winner.
Here is how we rated Wes and his teammates…
Angus Gunn: 7
Could do nothing about the goal, but made a couple of important saves throughout the game.
Harrison Reed: 7
Reed has taken to the right-back role superbly in recent months and was quality yet again.
Grant Hanley: 6
Had a really poor first-half and gave away far too many cheap fouls. Improved in the second half but still looked shaky at times.
Timm Klose: 9
Superb performance from Klose at the back. Made a number of great tackles and won everything in the air.
Jamal Lewis: 8
Defended extremely well down the left and drove the side forward when he could.
Moritz Leitner: 8
Great display from Leitner in midfield. Worked hard to win the ball back a number of times and kept things ticking over.
Mario Vrancic: 7
Won the ball back to create the equaliser and worked hard all afternoon.
Wes Hoolahan: 10
What an ending to a superb season for the Irishman. A goal and assist in his final match for the club. A fitting end.
James Maddison: 6
Was unlucky not to score in the second half and created space well with the ball.
Josh Murphy: 7
Struggled to beat his man in the first half, but massively improved in the second half and scored the winning goal.
Nelson Oliveira: 6
Worked hard up front, but had no clear-cut chances to score from.
