Our Man of the Match: Cardiff (H)

Norwich suffered a late defeat on Saturday as they fell to a 2-0 loss to Cardiff City at Carrow Road.

Two late goals fired the Bluebirds back up to second in the table, as Neil Warnock’s side look to secure promotion back to the Premier League after a four-year absence.

Norwich controlled possession and were having all the shots, but were simply not clinical enough in front of goal to deserve the win.

Cardiff left it late, but Kenneth Zohore would score via a deflection off Angus Gunn, before Junior Hoilett added a second deep into stoppage time with a great finish.

Picking a Man of the Match is tough when Norwich didn’t really deserve to lose, but also didn’t really deserve to win.

That’s why this week we’re picking Harrison Reed as our man of the match.

The Southampton loanee, who could be playing for the Saints in the Championship next season, went off and Norwich conceded, which says a lot!
