Maddison nominated for EFL Young Player of the Year

Norwich City’s young midfielder James Maddison has been nominated for the EFL Young Player of the Year award.

The former Coventry midfielder was also named in the Championship team of the season, being recognised for having a breakout season with the Canaries this year.

Maddison has been Norwich’s star player throughout this season. The midfielder has notched 13 goals in 38 appearances for the Canaries this season, and has been a shining light in what has been a poor season for Norwich.

His success with the Canaries has led him to be touted with moves elsewhere. However, Maddison has reiterated that he is happy with Norwich, and really just wants to be playing first team football.

Maddison is up for the Young Player of the Year award with Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon and Wolves’ Ruben Neves.
