Daniel Farke has revealed the latest team news ahead of the East Anglian Derby clash with Ipswich Town on Sunday.

Norwich come into the derby with a good run of form. The Canaries drew with high flying Derby county last Saturday, before beating Middlesbrough the week before.

Ipswich on the other hand come off a disappointing draw with Burton Albion.

Daniel Farke has revealed that several players have some slight injury worries, with Harrison Reed, Timm Klose and Moritz Leitner all carrying knocks.

In his pre match press conference, Daniel Farke said (via Canaries.co.uk); “Timm Klose and Moritz Leitner had some problems with their calves,” Farke said in his press conference on Friday lunchtime. “Timm felt some pain after the weekend and wasn’t able to train on Wednesday and Thursday but he returned today and it looks like he’ll be available so I’m not too concerned.

“Ivo didn’t feel 100% comfortable at the beginning of the week but in the last two days he’s looked much improved and looks good, He’s available but we just have to be careful because when you’re not available for three weeks it’s difficult to have three games in a week.

The German boss added that; “Harrison has had some tightness in his back. Harry has done really well in the right-back position, and we’ll have to wait to see what we do for Ipswich and for Wolves. I haven’t taken the decision yet, so I will wait over the next two days.”

Farke also revealed that Matt Jarvis has made his return to training, after missing the entirety of last season.

“Matt Jarvis returned to team training this week. With his character and ability, he totally fits to our style.”

“Matt has been out a long time and we need to handle his load in training. We need to be sensible with him.”
