Norwich City fell to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night as their run of poor form continued.
A second-half goal from ex-Ipswich striker Daryl Murphy was enough to secure the three points for the home side and send Norwich further from where they want to be.
The Canaries are now 15th in the Championship table and six points off the play-offs, with no signs of improvement in recent performances.
Daniel Farke’s men have now lost five of their last six matches in all competitions, four of the last five in the league.
Despite losing, Norwich did play good football at times against Forest but were lacking quality in the final third as they failed to create a clear-cut chance in the match.
Nelson Oliveira was feeding off scraps for the whole match, with the Portuguese striker clearly still working his way back to full fitness.
Picking a man of the match has been hard, with no one really standing out, but we have gone with Harrison Reed as our man.
Reed was nippy and energetic in midfield as he looked to put Norwich on the front foot, and did look superb in the first-half.
His game was not helped by the overzealous referee who blew up on virtually every challenge was given as a foul.
