Our player of the month: September
Norwich City enjoyed a superb September as they conceded two goals and went seven games unbeaten.
The Canaries picked up five wins and two draws across the month, including three away wins in-a-row.
Norwich also broke a club-record as they went five league games in succession without conceding a goal – the previous record was four.
The month saw wins against Birmingham, Sheffield United, Brentford, Middlesbrough and Reading, with draws against Bristol City and Burton Albion.
Each month we hand out a player of the month award, which is awarded to the player with the most man of the match awards during the month.
This month’s winner played in all seven games and helped City’s defence to five clean sheets in seven games, having returned from a lengthy injury.
Our Norwich player of the month for September is… Timm Klose!
The towering central defender came into the side at the start of the month and was immense, earning man of the match in his first two games against Birmingham and Burton.
Klose played in every match and was only on the pitch for one of the two goals conceded – against Reading – and even picked up an assist against Birmingham.
The Swiss international – who won our player of the season in the 2015/16 season – now picks up his first player of the month award of the season.
