Our man of the match: Burton Albion (H)
Norwich were left frustrated on Tuesday night as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Burton Albion.
The Canaries struggled to find a way past the side who had conceded five goals to Leeds on Saturday.
The best chance of the game came midway into the second half. Wes Hoolahan slipped Josh Murphy through on goal but the winger saw his shot saved by Stephen Bywater.
Despite the lack of goals, Norwich have now kept three league clean sheets in-a-row at Carrow Road – a stat that bodes well for the club’s defensive woes.
The club have kept two clean sheets in two games since Timm Klose has returned from injury.
The Swiss international was key again as him and Christoph Zimmermann were excellent at the back.
Picking a man of the match has been fairly easy, with one man really standing out for me.
Our Norwich man of the match against Burton is… Timm Klose!
Klose has now won our man of the match award in both of his appearances this season, after picking up the award against Birmingham on Saturday.
He was superb in the air and made some important interceptions and tackles to deny Burton any chances on goal.
Norwich missed his strength and leadership at the back during the start of the season. If he can stay fit, the club have a real chance this season.
