Norwich City got back to winning ways on Saturday as they beat Birmingham 1-0 at Carrow Road.
The Canaries needed to bounce back after losing their last two games, conceding eight goals in the process.
Daniel Farke made sure his team was solid at the back, boosted by the return of Timm Klose from injury.
The Swiss international was not only pivotal at the back, but going forward as well as he set-up the only goal of the game.
Klose’s cross-cum-shot was poked in by the studs of Nelson Oliveira in the fourth minute – the only goal of the game.
Christoph Zimmermann and Klose formed a fine partnership at the heart of the defence, with neither Russell Martin nor Marcel Franke in the matchday squad.
Picking a man of the match has been very difficult, with a number of players worthy of the accolade.
Oliveira and Zimmermann came close, but our Norwich man of the match against Birmingham is… Timm Klose!
Returning from over a month out with injury, Klose looked his best self and was terrific at the back.
He set up the goal, was crucial in keeping a clean sheet and didn’t get beat once.
Dominant in the air and on the floor, he was superb.
