A CEO Wishlist: How to avoid another Moxey

So, for the second time in less than a year, Norwich City are on the hunt for a new Chief Exec. This time, Jez Moxey left his role with the club, meaning that we have another nervous wait as a new CEO is recruited.

Already, interim CEO Steve Stone has won multiple plaudits after his first media interviews. He came across as an honest, stand up guy who cared about the club and the fans, something that could not be said for Jez Moxey.

It is worth remembering that alongside this, Stone wasn’t exactly unsuccessful during his time as interim CEO while David McNally’s replacement was found. He oversaw the signings of Sergi Canos and Paul Jones and managed to convince Alex Pritchard to head back up the M25. All that Jez Moxey managed in the remainder of that transfer window was to somehow lose a one-horse race for Ross McCormack and sign a Portuguese striker who couldn’t play for about a month.

So, as we search for a new CEO, I’ve compiled my wishlist of what I want from the next person at the helm.
