Derby 1-0 Norwich: Four things we learned

Norwich City slumped to yet another defeat as they lost 1-0 to Derby County at Pride Park today.

The Canaries lost for the sixth game in succession, also extending their run to seven games without a win.

Norwich manager Alex Neil came into the game with his job under intense pressure – increasingly so now.

It was a cagey first half, with neither side really able to conjure a decent effort on goal.

However, Derby were finally able to break the deadlock in the 65th minute. And it was the former City player of the season Bradley Johnson who found the back of the net.

Johnson fired Derby ahead from 25-yards out past John Ruddy and that was enough to secure all three points for the home side.

The goal was the 30th Norwich have conceded this season in the Championship – the 3rd worst record in the division.
