Timm Klose was substituted at half-time in the match between Switzerland and Andorra with a suspected ankle injury.
He picked up the injury about ten minutes before half-time and remained on the pitch until the break, however, he did not come out for the second half.
The 28-year-old has been in great form for Norwich ever since he arrived at Carrow Road and whilst little is known about the severity of the injury, the fact that he came off at half-time in a tough away game probably suggests that it was more than just a precautionary move to substitute him.
Norwich play Rotherham in just five days time and it looks like they might have to do so without the Swiss star.
The news will come as a blow to Alex Neil, who could also be without Robbie Brady after he suffered a head injury whilst representing the Republic of Ireland at the weekend.
