Opposition View: Birmingham City

Norwich will take on Birmingham this Saturday in a clash where Norwich could go top of the league. Ahead of the game, we’ve spoken to Birmingham fan and Read Network writer Daniel Bird.

Who should Norwich be wary of?

Che Adams: New signing and scored a nice goal last week. Is a threat in and around the box and should start the game despite Gary Rowett favouring the defensive side of things against bigger teams.

Which Norwich player do you fear the most?

Wes Hoolahan: He has the ability to pull apart our suspect left side of defence consisting of Jonathan Grounds and Ryan Shotton.

What do you think about Birmingham’s transfer window so far?

We have added some nice pieces with more yet to come, Robert Tesche and Che Adams are my personal favourite signings of the window. Ryan Shotton and Greg Stewart still have question marks over their ability at this level.

How much more business do you expect Birmingham to do?

We should be bringing in two more players according to reports from Rowett, a left-back to provide competition or as I think of it a replacement for Grounds and a wide player to use as squad depth.

Where do you think Birmingham will finish?

We should finish in mid-table once again, haven’t lost a whole lot this season and new signings take time to gel and adapt. 10th would be just fine

Predicted XI?

GK: Tomasz Kuszczak, DEF: Paul Caddis, Michaell Morrison, Ryan Shotton, Johnathan Grounds, MID: Maikel Kieftenbeld, Stephen Gleeson, David Davis, ATT: Che Adams, David Cotterill, Clayton Donaldson

Score Prediction?

1-1, Adams and Jerome to score
