Norwich interested in Dutch central defender

Young Club Brugge defender, Stefano Denswil, has been linked with a move to Norwich City.

Denswil, who only joined Club Brugge in 2015, has made 49 appearances for the club, scoring 3 goals. Denswil previously played for Dutch Club Ajax, and has made international appearances for the Netherlands, playing from U15 level to U21.

Belgian football journalist Sven Claes reported the news on the 1st of June, replying to a Belgian Fox Sports presenter:

@markvanrijswijk Nieuwtje voor jou, Mark. Stefano Denswil ook op de lijst van het Engelse Norwich. #NCFC

This tweet confirms Norwich’s interest in the 23-year-old centre back, with it roughly translating to say ‘News for you, Mark. Stefano Denswil also on the list of the English Norwich’

Denswil will surely gain interest from other English clubs this summer, due to him performing well after his transfer. Norwich City will have to act fast if they want to get the Dutch defender this summer, as Barcelona are also thought to be keeping an eye on the defender, although their interest in only tentative.
