In a duel run on this site, Norwich fans have voted for Kevin Keelan as the club’s greatest goalkeeper of all-time.
Keelan won an impressive 78% of his duels in the piece, with Bryan Gunn coming in at 2nd with 61% of his duels won. Chris Woods, Robert Green, Andy Marshall and John Ruddy were the other goalkeepers that were up to be voted for.

The ex-Norwich shot-stopper won the duel and is now named as the first player in our Read Norwich all-time XI. We will be doing pieces like this each day, with a different position each day to get a fans all-time XI of Norwich’s best ever players.
Keelan is the first name on the teamsheet here. He amassed over 600 first-team appearances for the club during his 17-year stay at the Norfolk club. I wasn’t lucky enough to be alive during his time at the club but I have heard some superb things about his performances and seen replays of some of his fine saves.
