Our man of the match: Chelsea (H)
We may have lost 2-1, but there were actually a number of performances that showed signs of promise and quality.
Steven Naismith being injured was obviously a big blow but Norwich still looked a threat going forward with Nathan Redmond and Wes Hoolahan.
This has actually been one of the hardest man of the match awards to give out, and for the good reasons for once!
Timm Klose was impressive at the back and seemed to win everything. Jonny Howson ran the midfield yet again. Wes Hoolahan was immense throughout and looked to be back at his best.
However, I have gone for Nathan Redmond as my man of the match.
Not just for his goal, but because of his all round performance. There has been criticism of his game this season that he doesn’t work hard enough or commit to challenges; he did just that last night.
He also took players on and created chances for himself, something we have not seen Redmond do for a while. His movement was superb for his goal and the finish to match was excellent.
Redmond was darting past players left, right and centre and if he perform like that against Swansea, we have an amazing chance of getting the win.
His goal also took him to five for the season in the Premier League, which makes him our top goalscorer this season. So much for people moaning about his finishing eh?
