Norwich boss Alex Neil has spoken after Norwich’s 2-2 draw with West Ham United at Carrow Road this afternoon.
Neil’s side held a two-goal lead after 70 minutes, with Irish-duo Robbie Brady and Wes Hoolahan both scoring for the Canaries.
However, Norwich’s defensive problems again resurfaced with West Ham scoring two goals in quick succession to level the match, with Dimitri Payet and long time Hammer Mark Noble firing home for the East London side.
The result leaves Norwich still in the relegation mix, but thanks to mostly positive results from the teams around them, they’re not too far off safety.

Speaking to Norwich City TV, Neil spoke about how he was disappointed that Norwich could not hold on for all three points, but definitely saw some positives from his team this afternoon.
Well, we obviously tried to see the game out, we just obviously didn’t see it out well enough. I think the boys played well today, they scored two good goals and had other opportunities in the game. I just think that at crucial times you just want to make sure you make good decisions and see out the danger and unfortunatley we just didn’t do that today.
Neil could also see that everyone inside Carrow Road was restless for a win and that this may have affected his players.
I think there’s a bit of aprehension there. I think everybody is so desperate for us to win the game, the players, the fans, myself and what happens is you end up being concerned towards the end because you know how much it means. But, listen we’re not going to be the only club in that situation, it’s just about making sure from that point onwards you’re not overcovering, you’re maybe not trying to do something a bit faulty and sinking too much back to your goal.
Norwich now face a tough trip to top of the table Leicester City in two weeks, thanks to Norwich not being in the FA Cup anymore.
