As reported by Tuttomercato, Norwich City are interested in Inter Milan defender Davide Santon, formerly of Newcastle United.
The 25-year-old defender plays on the left side of the defence, an area that Norwich fans have been questioning in recent weeks.
Robbie Brady has been the regular choice at left-back but his offensive mindset has caused problems in defence on many occasions.

With deadline day being next Monday, it looks like Alex Neil is hoping to strengthen that area by bringing Santon in. He joined Inter from Newcastle around this time last year and has made just 23 appearances for them in that time.
As Santon’s game time has been limited, Norwich could offer him the chance of regular first-team football as they look to retain their place in the Premier League for next season.
A move for the defender could potentially be a loan, with an option to buy at the end of the season if the Canaries manage to avoid relegation.
