Five Things we Learnt as Norwich Succumb to Liverpool

Firstly, what a game!

Going into this today’s game, it’s fair to say Norwich fans could look at the Liverpool game and expect a result, back at home after two poor away results and a Liverpool team hampered with injuries. There was certainly an air of optimism around the ground, having listened to local radio and even the national sports broadcasts, this was certainly an opportunity for Norwich.

The game itself was a rollercoaster, no one could complain going in 2-1 up at halftime, especially after watching Mbokani finish cleverly with his heel and Steven Naismith finish calmly from an acute angle, that’s what you pay the money for.

Wes added to the Canaries’ tally shortly after halftime with a coolly tucked away Penalty. At this point were dreaming, an emphatic home win against a club with the pedigree of Liverpool. However, what followed was disappointing.

Here’re five things we learned.
