I really don’t think any player deserved a man of the match award after today’s game in all honesty. It was the worst performance of the season in my opinion. At least against Newcastle we looked decent going forward.
At the moment, we seem incapable of defending, passing and attacking. With our next two games coming against Liverpool and Tottenham it is really looking like a downhill slide for Norwich’s season.
He may have conceded three goals and almost got sent off but the only player who did anything even remotely useful towards Norwich’s cause was Declan Rudd.
Rudd was almost sent off in the first half when the defence switched off from a simple through ball and Rudd had to take down Benik Afobe to stop him from scoring an easy goal.
No Norwich player did anything good in the game but Rudd did make two very good saves. One with his feet from Marc Pugh and the other from a header when he flew across his goal to tip it wide.
