Newly Promoted Teams vs. Common Opponents

When Cameron Jerome missed a sitter in front of the Barclay with just over 20 minutes to go in the match, the ball, and two points drifted away into thin air. That meant that the Canaries matched their two newly promoted rivals in results against Everton. Watford got a 2-2 draw at Goodison Park on the opening day of the season, and Bournemouth used three goals after the 80th minute to get a point of their own against Everton.

That meant that all three teams got a draw against Everton, which got me thinking. How have the Canaries done against opponents that both Watford and Bournemouth have faced? There have been nine of those this season, with more coming over the next few weeks. Here is a quick recap of the nine common opponents between the three clubs that resided in the Championship a year ago.

matchday.
