Norwich City wide man Nathan Redmond has been withdrawn from England’s Under-21 squad due to injury.
Redmond missed Norwich’s 1-0 win over Swansea City yesterday as Norwich picked up their third win of the season, and first clean sheet. Redmond’s replacement for the game was Jonny Howson on the right; it was him who scored the only goal of the game as he headed home from close range.

Redmond was due to link up with the England youth side this week but has unfortunately had to withdraw from selection due to the rather unknown injury that left him ineligible for Norwich on Saturday.
He failed a late fitness test on Saturday that ruled him out and it is still unknown what the cause of the injury was, or perhaps more worryingly, what the extent of the injury is.
With Matt Jarvis already ruled out for several weeks, can Norwich afford to lose Redmond as well?
