Norwich striker Gary Hooper has joined Championship club Sheffield Wednesday.
In a statement, Norwich City said that the loan deal will last until January 17.
Hooper will join canary Michael Turner on loan at Wednesday, who has been out with an injury recently. He was linked with a move to Wednesday earlier in the summer, and now the rumours have been proven to be true.
Hooper has featured only twice this season and picked up an ankle injury, ruling him out of recent matches.
Since joining from Celtic in 2013, he has appeared 70 times for City and has got on the scoresheet 20 times. He scored his first hat-trick for the club, and the only hat trick last season, in the 4-0 demolition of Blackpool.
Hooper struggled to establish himself in the side last season, having stints in the team whilst other players were injured or suspended. He was frequently used as a power player from the bench, which showed when he scored a late winner against Bolton. He has found it hard to make the bench this season, and this loan spell will provide him with the game time he has lacked.
