According to reports in the Mirror, Moroccan International Oussama Assaidi could be on his way to Carrow Road.
The former Liverpool man now plays for Al-Ahli Dubai in the Middle East, but is apparently unsettled thanks to soaring desert temperatures and is now trying to force a move back to Europe.
Assaidi signed for the Reds in 2012 from Dutch club Heerenveen for a fee of £2.5m. He went on to make 12 appearances for Liverpool before joining Stoke on loan in 2013.
After a successful first season at the Britannia, which included a superb winning volley against Chelsea, he renewed his loan spell in the Potteries at the beginning of last season, however after failing to hold down a starting spot, he cut the loan short and joined the Dubai based club.
The Mirror suggests that Norwich could be willing to bring Assaidi back to England on a loan deal, increasing competition for starting places for Nathan Redmond and summer signing Robbie Brady.
