Twitter reacts to day of Ins and Outs at Carrow Road

After weeks of having to tweet about Aviva boxes and multi-coloured third kits, the City faithful finally had some transfer news to tweet about with the signings of Robbie Brady and Andre Wisdom. Weeks of frustration caused a mini-meltdown on Twitter and a variety of opinions, but the general consensus was that it was good business by City.

The first, and least surprising, was the long overdue announcement that Robbie Brady had finally joined the club. It was clear to see that the longevity of the Brady saga had taken some of the excitement of it, but most were still happy to see it was over the line.

The news was equally unsurprising for Hull fans, who gave him a fond farewell.

But just as we had logged off for the evening, we were hit with a double whammy of transfer news in quick succession. First came the unexpected departure of Ignasi Miquel. Although he did little in a Norwich shirt, fans were sympathetic to the situation he had found himself in.

Others were slightly less sympathetic.

And despite doing nothing memorable on the pitch, he’ll never be forgotten for his excellent modelling skills.

Last, but by no means least, came Andre Wisdom. The move came much earlier than expected, with the initial rumour only first surfacing the previous day. Despite not having made a great impression at West Brom, City fans were still excited that this promising English talent has another chance to impress at Carrow Road.
