Norwich hit brick wall in Brady discussions

Steve Bruce has once again revealed the situation over the never-ending transfer saga over Robbie Brady, and it isn’t good news for City fans.

Alex Neil had already confirmed the club had put in a “fair” bid in a recent interview on City’s YouTube channel. But it appears Hull’s wealthy owners are holding out for much more than “fair”.

Speaking to the Hull Daily Mail, Bruce said, “they’ve put in a bid 10 days ago which was rejected and I hope they don’t make another one”.  The bid is believed to be £6 million, but is still a way short of Hull’s lofty price tag of £8 million. The ex-City defender went on to say, “We’ve made a stance on it and made ourselves pretty clear. Unless they meet the valuation that the owners want, then he will remain a Hull City player. It’s as simple as that”.

Considering how long it took City to put in a bid of £6 million, it seems very unlikely that they’ll now push even further to land the Irishman. And as speculation grows around Fiorentina left back Marcos Alonso, it seems the Brady transfer saga could finally be coming to an end.
